What Our Team Says (Employee Reviews)

"I came in as a seasonal hire just to earn extra holiday money and UPS offered me a permanent position before Christmas even arrived. The pace during peak is unlike anything I have experienced in any other warehouse job, but the overtime opportunities made my paycheck enormous. If you can handle the intensity, UPS peak season is the highest-paying seasonal gig in this area, period." - Former Seasonal, Now Permanent Associate, Seattle, WA.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a UPS Seasonal Warehouse Associate, you are deployed across our highest-volume sort functions during the peak holiday shipping window — typically November through January — working wherever the volume demands it most each shift.

• Peak-Volume Package Handling: Load, unload, and sort dramatically elevated package volumes during the holiday peak window, maintaining UPS accuracy and safety standards even as throughput targets reach their annual maximum.
• Multi-Function Flexibility: Rotate between unloading trailers, sorting packages on belts, and loading package cars as directed by the shift supervisor, adapting rapidly to wherever the facility's largest volume bottleneck exists.
• Overtime Availability: Accept voluntary or mandatory overtime during critical peak days — Black Friday, Cyber Week, and pre-Christmas — when UPS's volume peaks require extended shift windows to clear the sort.

Benefits & Perks

UPS Seasonal Warehouse Associates receive competitive hourly wages with weekly paychecks and access to overtime pay at standard rates. Seasonal associates who demonstrate reliability and performance are formally considered for permanent UPS positions — the most valuable benefit of all for those building long-term logistics careers.
